Orlando potholes and my car don't get along!
So I'm driving down the expressway and I see some police lights ahead. I merge into the center lane to make sure the officer has room and then BOOM!. I hit a huge f***ing pothole. My anger level soars from 0 to infinite. I drive a little further only to see about 8-10 cars on the side of the road all with flats on their front driverside tire. WTF! My tire light doesn't come on so I think I'm in the clear. Nope sure enough it comes on and when I stop I can hear the air coming out. The mayor, DOT, someone is getting an earfull from me. At least I got tire insurance.....

I hope so, they better pay for it even though I probably won't cuz of my insurance. I just feel bad for all those other people who don't have tire insurance and no RFTs...could be dangerous

The good thing is that I learned from South Park that I can use homeless people as spare tires. "We would still have homeless people, but they would be useful. It's like recycling." I think Orlando created the pothole just so people would do this!

WOW! You hit the only pot hole in Orlando. That blows. I've never run across a pot hole in Orlando that would cause damage to a car.

You can make the city pay for it. It has happened to a friend of mine who just got new OZ rims and he hit a pothole on a city road and bent his rim. He took pictures of his rims and pictures of the pothole and contacted the city. They paid for it.

I live in Orlando half the year and if its not the potholes its the never ending construction or the traffic on I4 or the horrible drivers. I hate Orlando when it comes to driving.

Well the engineering company for that expressway is going to pay for the damage I believe and I may be able to double dip with my tire insurance. Oh and the pothole also damaged my rear tire. For the people in Orlando asking about it, the pothole was caused by the massive rain and has already been refilled.

Damaged to tire rim and suspension?

From reading your posts, it seems like an extremely dangerous pot-hole.

Here, you got to be on your toes with potholes, they are everywhere, some can even swallow a whole man.
I didn't know they had potholes in Florida? |

ok. the pothole was very big about 2.5ft in diameter.. I saw the bastard filled today. the $1008 was for two new tires(front and back) and for a 4 wheel alignment. So suspesion damage or rim damage. They will be unhappy about that much cuz i know every other car will be like $150 in damage. Im an engineer so I know, nobody wants to pay $1k.
