Did they give you your price yet? was it over or right on the spot (per the numbers we have around in the Thread here?

When will you get the car? do you know? did they give you the production number yet? was your order process easy?

did you have to sign anything yet at this point?

Sorry for all the questions... I am going through the process myself, but i am still waiting for confirmation from BMW corporate on Monday ...

I am getting myself also a 335i MT Lux Line with ED...

what will you be doing with the 135i? My guess is that you throughfully enjoyed the 1 series with that powerful engine, to the point that you would like to renew the experience ? DiD you have/encountered any issues with the HPFP of the 3.5L configurations.

Anyways, CONGRATS TO YOU! feel free to answer any of the above questions, whenever you find the time. thanks.

The price was certainly nothing great. $500 under sticker. I do have a production number but no idea when I will actually get my hands on it. They're thinking possibly the end of February but March is probably more realistic. Ordering was a piece of cake. We just speced the car out, signed an order form, and ran the credit card for the deposit.

I'll probably just trade the 135i. The sales tax saved by doing so will counter some of the terrible trade value I'm bound to get from the dealer. The N54 engine has been fantastic. It's not as good as it once was because of the current software but it's still fun. I haven't had any HPFP issues thankfully. (knock on wood) I'm excited to stick with BMW. I love those inline sixes!

When you say $500 under sticker, you mean you were able to negotiate $500 of the price listed on the ordering and pricing guide ($42,400 for the base 330i)?

I didn't really negotiate when I ordered my 328i. I'm hoping to get my windows tinted for free at the dealer but we'll see what I can do.

I was able to negotiate $500 below MSRP, the price listed in the guide. I asked up front if they were able to do anything on it because it's so new and my salesman said no. When we got to pricing it out I just said that it seemed a little high so he took $500 off.

I understand that the dealership and your salesman has to make a profit to stay in business, but I detest the negotiating process.

Wink

Congrats on the new status change...

Production is now scheduled for you...

Let us know whey your dealership tells you the Order Status 150.

unless you are already... but that would surprise me...

it could be... since you are not doing ED... so you it looks like you will get it on Feb 11, 2012~!

Well, I have a production number already for a 335i with just about everything: ZPP, ZSL, ZCW, ZDA, ZPK, ZPS, ZTP, 2TB, 6NL and 8TH (does ANYONE know that 8TH is? E90Fleet?) in Mineral Grey with 4AD/4DL interior.

Three dealers in the Boston area were ready to sell for $750 over ED invoice plus their stinkin' "doc fees" (another $300). One wanted to write the purchase contract just that way -- when I refused another dealer was happy to put the actual prices in. It's a firm deal.

Prices in the US are announced -- you should be able to get a firm deal for some total cost over invoice -- not a percentage off MSRP (either US or ED).

I just responded in another thread on 8TH. It will determine the current speed limit from the front camera and display it on the HUD (maybe also on the instrument panel).

Cool!
That essentially the configuration I am looking at - ZSL, ZTP, and 6NL, though I may wait for M-Sport.
My only problem with M-Sport is the much reduced color options, both interior and exterior as I want Imperial Blue with Gray leather.
I'll have to choose between those colors and M-Sport with the hex aluminum trim, probably in Silver w/Black leather.

Thanks! Sounds like a cool feature for little additional cash.

which is why I didn't order it.

Not much need for it in the US. Speed limit signs are not rare. It would make more sense in Europe.
