ACC wire...

hey guys..i did a search and looking for ACC wire...i have an aftermarket amp that i would like to stay on when i turn off the engine. i have the remote wire currently hooked up to the cigg lighter and works fine but it turns off once i kill the engine. i had a low voltage trigger but scraped it cuz it was giving me problems as far as holding its voltage. i know this has been discussed a lot in the past and hoping some one has found the solution. thanks.

what kind of problems were you having with the pac trunk loc? mine seems to be working fine via that method. i have the remote wire on one of the subs off of the oem amp.

it wasnt providing enough power to the amp. the amp would cut in and out so i tested it out by connecting by remote to constant 12v worked fine and now to cig lighter no problems

was this only when the car was off? or even when the car was on?

mine doesnt seem to cut out at all. do you think you might have had a loose remote wire? i just tested my remote wire on the cig lighter and the sub speaker wire. i wanted to see if there was a difference. i did not hear a difference.

it wasnt a loose connection. i tried it multiple times, but was just happy it worked once it was connected to cig lighter. but just tryin to have my amo stay on in teh ACC mode. if anyone knows which wire. ntpcrew what kind of low voltage trigger are you using?
