List of 335 trouble codes?

My car threw a code but I wasn't able to write it down. I would recognize it on a list though. Does anyone have a list or access to a list of 335 codes? I remember the words "Idle Speed" and "Sys".

Thanks,

T

*** EDIT: By code I mean the half yellow engine light would come on.

We should actually make this a sticky with the codes and what each code means.

i have a list for Audi but not for BMW.

If all you have is an OBDII reader then the codes are already defined for all vehicles if within the P0xxx range.

What was the code number?

some OBDII code readers will just give you the # code and not the description...depending on what one you have.

for audi's we use VAGCOM which will give you the code # and the tell you what the code is.

does the one from VISHNU give the # or the description?

Unfortuantly I don't know. I was in a hurry and just cleared it. Perhaps the scanner comes with a list I can read through? I'll know it if I see it.

the Vishnu one gives you a number and then has a book that you can find the number and then that tells you what the code means.

Thanks for the list. Unfortunatly I can't find it. I'll probably have to wait for it to come up again and note the actual number.

I don't know yet, a non-xede car had the same code.

I've seen plenty of procede trouble codes on here as well. I'll let everyone know when I figure out what it is!

Let's not have another flame war post going on here.

I have the PROcede and 4x yesterday it tripped the yellow half engine icon on the cluster. 2x on the freeway during cruise (one driving to a high altitude and again driving to a low altitude environment) and 2x on the drag strip when going into 4th gear. Light went away after restarting the car or after a minute while driving. No service engine soon light though appeard. This was even with the v1.45LBT "Low Boost Target". I have never got the light at 510ft above sea level in my hometown.

I think that Terry's map in the Xede was tuned at a sea level environment considering it was done in Miami, FL. Terry's 335i was driven from a low altitude environment so I am not sure if the DME is freaking out with a piggyback installed when going to a high altitude environment. I'm sure the guys at AA can make tweak something to prevent this issue at a high altitude environment.

But u dont have a procede you have the xede by AA and they have 25 years tuning experience and they waited to release their product because they do countless hours of r&d to ensure they release the highest quality product. I'm confused how a big reputable company would release a product that has problems. Please help clarify this.

Hey this kinda stuff goes both ways. I didnt start this bullshit and terry and everyone from aa have been running their mouth with this "we have more experience blah blah blah we have so many tuners blah blah blah 25 years doin very high hp applications blah blah blah" and for all that they have a product that throws codes when u take it a couple thousand miles above sea level. Two can play the "my tuner is better" game.

That was what happened to me, the yellow half engine light! I assumed it was the SES light. Mine would go away sometimes on its own also.

Any idea what is causing it? It seems to have effected a xede, tt, and procede car!

I'm not from AA and if you search I haven't been making that argument.

Is the CEL the same as the half yellow engine in the cluster?

you went into limp mode...that's what the half yellow engine light is...it's even in the owner's manual.

on a side note, you know if someone were to say they got the same code w/ procede...you'd be all over it and bashing the procede. don't deny it...

to Jon@themshop, do you work at the mshop in Eagle Rock?
