help for x newbie
I had an 08 e92 that I loved, but somebody ran into me in Aug. and totaled it.
Just got 2012 e92 x drive that in general I love, but did notice the difference in feel right away with lack of sport suspension and higher ride. Have been perusing the forum and am glad to see that there are fixes. It seems that KW V1 coilovers are popular but also see other ones talked about. Is there an advantage of one over another? I would like to approach the sport suspension feel, but don't mind it being a little cushier than that. Are there any warranty issues? I read someone's recommendation to wait until spring, so I think I will do that as we do get a fair amount of snow here. Can I adjust the drop when I exchange my snow tires for my stock 18s w/ rfts? Thanks for advice. |

KW V1's is probably the way you want to go if you want to adjust them each season.
It will pose issues with your warranty if the problem affects your suspension. Now, if you have a problem with your sunroof, your warranty will be fine. |

Thanks! Got them on order. Checked with one shop and they wanted 850 for installation and alignment which sounds high compared to what I have read on the forum. What is reasonable?
