Alpine TypeX and Rockford T1000
Hey guys, so forgive me if this is a very noobish question but I had this setup installed in my car and it doesn't seem to be providing the SPL I anticipated. I had this setup in my previous car but didn't see how the last shop wired the sub to the amp, but it was definitely louder before. Right now the sub is only wired to 1 channel of the amp...is this correct? Or should it be bridged between both channels?
Specs: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SWX1...brank9%5d12%22 http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...item_id=111777 Edit* Just checked with another shop who confirmed it was wired correct. Also, the amp is a monoblock amp, which for some reason I thought was a 2 channel since it looked like it had 2 channels on it....With this setup, whats the Wattage im pushing? 350 Watts x 1 @ 4-Ohm
650 Watts x 1 @ 2-Ohm 1000 Watts x 1 @ 1-Ohm DVC sub: Series, parallel? Just one? It's probably wired @ 2. RMS for the sub is 500-1000. |

If your wanting it louder sell that amp and get one that puts out 1000 watts at 2 ohms. An alpine mrp1000 or mrx100 would work if you want to go with alpine.
