ipod 4gs via bluetooth vs connected usb

I ordered an iphone 4gs and was debating selling my ipod that I keep in my car connected to the usb...

how is the sound quality of bluetooth vs when it is connected to the idrive?

Should I keep both or just use my iphone as bluetooth 8)

btw, when I put texts and emails on silent but vibrate, would music stop playing and continue again when the phone vibrates

This has been discussed previously and the general understanding is the audio quality is far superior vis the USB.
