Aftermarket Nav/GPS stereo install ?s

I just purchased a Kenwood KVT-819dvd GPS/stereo and I'm a little concerned about installing it. I've done several GPS installs in the past but never where the "brain" is a separate unit from the stereo. I tried to put it below the passenger seat but it didn't fit....then I thought I would put it behind the seat...which appears to be the best place for it but I'm not sure hot to run the cables to the front of the car.

I would appreciate any advice anybody has.

Thank you in advance.

Patrick
