Not that i know of, all smartphones now require a data plan.

^don't know if they have that option anymore. Seems like starting for the 4, if they detect it they will automatically slap data on you for ATT.

lol I had my iPhone 4 opted out until I added the plan. And clearly they detected it since it was listed on our account

The option is not available from the get-go. You have to have to call customer service to enable it. As stated earlier...silver tongue!

The data opt out is an option, but soon as AT&T does IEMI sweep they will automatically add the $25 data plan on and any necessary charges... It's in the fine prints that no one can read w/o a magnifying glass lol

Just letting you guys know from some of my co-workers experiences
