I have a Connects 2 harness and a Parrot CK3000 that are a direct plug and play into the 2007-2011 stereo (non-iDrive) and allow full bluetooth call functionality with the steering wheel buttons. Installation is straightforward.

Recently Majestic Music had the pleasure of integrating Bluetooth into a pristine 2000 BMW 328i. I know what you’re thinking, “it’s a 2000, what’s the big deal?” Here’s the deal, BMW didn’t start getting into Bluetooth until 2005 or 2006.
