Coilovers during winter time?

Thinking about lowering my car with either KW v1 or v3's but where i live it gets cold as hell

-25 C or -13 F

Will running them in this kind of weather create issues/ problems and will they still work properly or freeze up?

Thanks for your help!

Pretty sure they'll function fine, though I'm not sure about their rust resistance.

KW's are made to withstand winter weather - snow, salt, cold, etc..
H&R coils are not rust resistant and should be treated with rust resistant spray every year

That's a level of cold I hope to never have to deal with, but I just got off the phone with our KW contact, they said that below freezing you will most likely experience extra noise from the coil overs but they will still function properly. They have reports of the V2s and V3s operating properly at temperatures right around -20 degrees.

Also right now we have a special going on KW coil overs Free ECS Tuning gift cars are packaged with our KW V1, V2, and V3 coil overs. You can find the coil overs for your car HERE

Stay Warm!
