Bilstein Sport, Eibach Springs, UUC Sway Bars F+R, M3 Subframe Bushings

Picked up the car today after all this install. All I can say is WOW!! The car sits 3/4" lower in front and 1/2" in rear. I expect this to settle another 1/4" over the next month or two. The ride is very comfortable. No harshness or road noise. The corning in incredible. Precide, flat, tight, all the above. No regrets at all.

So what was the cost when all was said and done? How long did it take the shop to do, and did they run into any unexpected snags? Really looking forward to your review after a week or two, then after a couple months.

Where to start? I'll have to look up exact numbers but at most 10% off regular price.

Costs: Have been collecting parts over last 8 months.
F 27mm + R 19mm Sway bars from UUC - $339.15 on sale with free shipping
Bilstein Sport shocks - from BavAuto $602.80 + free shipping but took 2 months.
M3 bushings - From HPAutowerks, $268.53 shipped
Eibach springs - AJ USA #2091.40, $241.46 free shipping
UUC Short Shifter - $366 shipped

Install: At VAC Motorsport in Philadelphia PA
$700 - M3 bushings and rear sway bar
$230 - front and rear sway bar
$600 - shocks and springs
$215 - 4 wheel alignment and corner weighing

I'll have to verify and check the actual invoices and make corrections tomorrow.

quick question on the alignment, i just got my car lowered on bilstein/eibachs, but i'm not sure what to do with the alignment.

should i take it to the dealer, should i take it to another shop? what alignment specs should they use? the stock sport suspension settings on the 328i? or would they use the stock e90 alignment settings?

The car just gets better every day. Flat handling, precise, good road feel, great ride. Hard to say what did the best but the whole package works very well. If anything, I might try different springs to lower it a bit more, not slam it.

I realise this is an old post, but could you give some words on your experience with this setup?

I am considering it (Bilstein B12), after changing from stock 16" to 19" VMR's, as the car feels pretty floaty right now, but I don't want to spend too much on coilovers, and still want the ride to be comfortable. The drop is a nice side-effect, but not my main goal - handling is.
