Thoughts on SES Light In Near-New 335is?

So, I've got 5,250 miles on my 335is and the SES light came on over the weekend. The car runs fine.

I have an appointment with the dealer, and obviously any necessary repair costs me nothing more than inconvenience. That said, I'm wondering if anyone has any similar experience with this type of event. Specifically, does it presage other issues? Is that specific to the codes it's throwing? Any general thoughts/ideas?

what is the code? is it your gas cap?
