scanner thread?

Many E90, 91, 92, 93 are coming off warranty. Some run tunes and modifications of these cars. I think we need good scanners. If there are threads about scanners with comparisons of prices, capabilites, quality, etc. at this or any other website, please provide links. If not, may we start one?

IMHO, Buying a tune that has the ability to read and clear codes is the best bang for the buck.

JB4 is my personal preference

Peake. You've got a 2007 so you're good to go. I've got a 2008 and Peake doesn't make one for 2008 and newer.

Autoenginuity. More expensive because you have to buy additional software for enhanced BMW codes but can be used with other cars. I considered getting one because of my wife's Acura but it would've been over $600 for the scan tool and additional BMW + Honda software.

Plenty of others, both more expensive and cheaper.
I would get the Peake if they made it for 2008s.
