What u guys telling me BMW don't come with carpet? I just bought my first BMW couple weeks ago I said to the sale guy that I notice the car missing carpet so he give me a set I thought they just forget to put it in or something are u guys saying BMW never come with carpet?

No, what we are saying is that BMW doesn't usually come with carpets...

all you have to do is have the dealership write up a "WE OWE" and you can get the floor flats free.

Could have, my first ones were free in my first bmw. My second one was just included in the price of the car.

They'll give them to you usually by just asking for them like others have said... but technically are not standard equipment.

I've gotten them with all three BMWs I have purchased though...

WE OWE'S just add the cost of whatever to the deal.. so you end up paying for it over the payments you make. its not free

they gave me a set of the carpeted mats when I picked up the car. When I got home, I looked in the trunk, and there was another unopened box of floor mats inside, woo!

I was pleasantly surprised to find mats in my car when I picked it up at the Welt last month. I had planned on buying the nicer BavAuto mats instead of paying for the slightly chintzy BMW ones. Still will when these wear out in a couple years. I did buy the BMW rubber mats from ECS for winter though.
