Got into an accident, throwing malfunctions...

Got in to an accident last night, had to chase the Toyota Celica that hit me but the 911 Operator said not to, cause he might be armed and dangerous… Lucky guy… Ohh it pulls to the right, steering is TOTALLY messed up and wheel is slanted

911 told you not to chase it? WTF? I'm guessing the Operator is expecting your insurance to cover this? Did you find out who hit you? I would have chased that mofo down and at least gotten a plate number or something.

Yes, I would suspect all those malfunctions to come up with a hit like that to the wheel.

we are obligated to tell the 911 caller that due to liability issues, however whatever the driver does is up to them...if it were me i would have chased and and then called and said he fell getting out of the car

At least get close enough for a license plate # and a look at the driver.

The wheel/brake assembly may be out of whack, setting off the ABS sensor/traction control. You will need a 4 wheel alignment, a new wheel, and a refinished rear bumper, parts and paint, I say $3500.

You also could of damage to the rear axle (IRA) which could be $$$$. Even the differential.

Those all look like problems that'd arise from wheel speed sensor not getting a good reading. Probably messed up your hub / wheel when he hit you.

FYI my sarcasm is obvious, but there is nothing more I despise than someone who does a hit and run. . .

$2100 vet bill for a overnight stay when a POS hit and run my mini Pomeranian

Not sure what DBC is but DSC is dynamic stability control (helps you when you're sliding / understeering / oversteering). Start-Off assistance I'm pretty sure is when you're on a hill. Keeps you from rolling back when you get off the brakes.

Mast likely need a new wheel bearing. The yaw sensor maybe messed up. Which dsc, start off assist, and dbc use.

I'm guessing dbc is dynamic brake control....probably wrong. Maybe disc brake control. In my car it's ebd, electronic brake distribution.
