Last week my car kept stumbling under load and would kick the power reduction warning and the yellow service engine light, it would sound like a lawn mower running on 4 cylinders. It was throwing a code for cylinder #2 malfunction. It was due of an oil change so I took it in yesterday. Yesterday I had oil changed and plugs changed.
Today I uploaded my Cobb 93 tune and everything seemed fine. On the way home from the office on the interstate I went to pass a guy in 6th gear and simply went wot in 6th. The car began to accelerate and then almost instantly lost all power, dsc light, service engine light, and the e brake light in yellow came on. I pushed the gas and noting at all. I pulled off the highway, stopped and the engine kept revving very quickly from idle to 1500 rpms back and forth. Shut the car down, restarted, no warning lights or anything out of the ordinary. Flogged it to try and induce it, nothing she ran fine. No codes on the Codd when I got home. Anyone have any clue or ever seen this?
