1) Picking it up from the showroom after owning a 520d. Couldn\'t believe it was a diesel!
2) Lake District blast the day after.
3) Doughnutting it in a quiet area with DTC/DSC fully off!
4)Awesome Drift in the snow onto our avenue - remember it vividly!! DTC/DSC fully off again.
5) Hitting 160mph chasing a Mercedes SLS AMG and finding it still had more to give!

A few unfortunate memories
1) Going out to it one morning and finding a monumental oil leak.
2) When another driver dented the rear bumper and it had to be replaced.

2. Turbos going bad.
3. Fuse box and main power lead going bad, locking me out of car for hours on end.
4. Right rear brake light going bad, and turning on and off.
5. Realizing my HPFP has never gone bad

5) Cruising on a warm summer night along the California coast with the top down, the music blasting, and the wind blowing through my hair.

1. Picking it up at the Welt in Munich, seeing it sitting on the rotating platform and the whole ED Experience there
2. Roaming around in the Alps purely to hit all the fun mountain passes (Stelvio, Fluela, San Bernadino pass, St. Gotthard pass, Grimsel pass, etc).
3. Being re-united after weeks of waiting for re-delivery back int he US.
4. Ripping it up in Austin hill country twisties with a pack of other fun cars
5. And putting a huge smile every day when I drive it and heating that sweet sweet exhaust note. No better way to start the day.

1) Driving Deal's Gap.
2) First test drive, and refusing a second test drive so I wouldn't make any stupid decisions.
3) Returning to it after being away for 3 months.
4) Almost hitting a curb the first time I disabled DSC.
5) Getting stuck in sand in a parking lot on Cape Cod.

I have another!
6) Snowy slippery motorway entrance. Left hander up hill curve. Immediately understeered - Increased power slightly and DTC/DSC braked the inside wheel to help. This put the car into beautiful a four wheel drift which then turned into oversteer which was then corrected by opposite lock and DSC.
Really showed how well the car's system worked! Almost every driver aid would've been working! ABS and EBD because of DSC and DTC keeping the power in check!
Its times like those I'm glad we didn't get the FWD or AWD Audi or a softer car such as a Merc. BMW FTW!!!
