AR Downpipe Install Advise

I will be installing ARs soon after purchasing a used set. I have a couple questions:

1. Nobody seems to mention replacing the turbo/DP gasket. Are most people just reusing the old gasket? I have 65k miles, so I'm sure it would be best to order new ones.

2. Since the ARs don't mount to any brackets, can you just remove the brackets for mounting the stock DPs?

Thanks!

1. I just re-used that gasket. No issues. It's hard to tell that the gasket is even there or removable.

2. I couldn't figure out how to remove the brackets so I left them there. They don't get in the way at all.

Also, have a six-pack on ice, you'll probably be on your back for a while....

sometimes a lift can be tougher with the standing, arms over your head, reaching up. on ramps you're relaxing on your back. Hey, I'm being optimist.

It's not that bad on ramps. Just be sure to have some PB Blaster and a crow's foot socket handy for those O2 sensors. They're usually screwed on very tightly.

If you end up braking one of those bolts on the oe Dp just take them out n u can use regular bolts.
You don't need to remove the beaker that holds the oe Dp.
Be sure that the bank 2 Dp clamp don't interfear with the acuator rod.
Be very careful when handling the o2 sensors.
