Does my car have the Dinan package?

Car is an 08 335i, bought used recently.

Hi, how do I tell if my car has the upgraded firmware flash Dinan package, and if so what stage?

My car does have the extra oil coolers in the front.

The only way I think you can find out is to get the BMW dealer to print out the maintance history of your car, if the past owner did all of his work at that dealership.

take it to a dyno - if it makes low numbers then you're probably running Dinan.

I think there is normally a sticker somewhere obvious under the hood. This is to warn dealership not to update OEM software without considering that Dinan may have to be reflashed.

The only way is to check the car's history - there is no underhood sticker to advise not to reflash, etc. Dinan flashing will have been added to the car's service history somewhere along the way. You can also try sending the VIN to Dinan and see if they have a record of your car being so equipped.
