Whats faster 335i or 335XI???
I've searched and searched on-line, google, yahoo, and even on here.
What are the actual specs for the 2007-2008 E92 335XI 6 speed manual, as far as 0-60? 1/4 Mile? and the same for 335i? I hear XI is faster, because it doesnt burn out on takes off on all 4's. I also heard 335i is faster because its lighter, and faster on freeways when it comes to top speed...? Also whats the difference from a XI to a Xdrive? is it same but worded differently? Thanks! |

1. rwd is quicker than awd. the only advantage awd has is the off the line launch which is dummy proof. any skilled driver with decent tires can launch the 335i similarly to the 335xi.
2. no difference. just in name. 3. learn to search.

i would take the XI
easier to launch especially in between gears where my rear end get to happy and wants to do its own thing, considering 400+hp if your going to mod the car to the tits, take the XI you'll be happier hooking in all gears, I know I would |

I gotta be honest here... if you are a savvy enough driver to notice the few tenths of a second one might be quicker over the other.... you should probably be on a circuit somewhere.
Having said that I would go with the one that suits your life style better. Taking into consideration climate differentiation (and whether or not it applies to your location) and if it were to be a dd.
