Base rack system

Does anyone know what the part # for the E90 base rack system is? Which dealer has it for the cheapest? I remember reading something about Circle BMW or Morristown BMW having good prices for parts.

Which Thule snowboard rack is compatible with the E90 base rack system?

I got mine for $157 shipped from ebay:

This may not be the cheapest, but it was a smooth enough transaction.

I can't help you on your snowboard question.

Morristown BMW have the lowerest price or ebay. Got mine with MT-BMW, part # 82 710 152 991
Yes the snowboard rack works with the system but need an adoptor.

I like the BMW rack system, well make, solid & perfect easy fit.

i spent a ton of time researching this and finally got the thule rack onto the bmw base rack.

call your dealer parts department to get the right part number, i think it has changed from when the first came out. pacificbmw.com has some competitive prices.

i mounted a thule 725 flat top carrier to the base rack. you will also need the XADAPT2 adapter kit to get everything to work right.
