I had my M3 tinted at Alexia's about 8 years ago and the tint held up well. I am looking to tint my 335i and am interested to hear about any other good options around.

Your post is so helpful to others that might want to get tints as well... But I guess you don't care to let people know where you got your deal... I had my X5 tinted @ Speed Concept for $70 for the fronts and they did a good job, had Alexias do three of my past cars and 2 cars were fine, 1 (my 335) I had to have them re tint as all 4 main windows were getting scratched up... Alexias is fairly reasonable but after my 335 tints I have not been back. |

For sure I don't mind people know where I got my tints done. But it is in a small town, I thought people would not come here for a tint job..So, I did not mention about the store.. I got my windows tinted in Eugene, OR. A store called "Trifer". It is well known in the town. I had my side windows and the back wind shield tinted for $200. And the sunroof, they tinted it for me for free. The tint job also comes with lifetime warranty. The owner is a great guy, and also gave me a can of windows cleaner for free... If anyone want to get more information or whatever about this store, please PM me. I will try to hook up and help you out... |

I am going to Highline Customs based on a referral from a friend. I have heard good things about them and they supposedly do all Kuni's work. I will report back how everything goes next week.

Had 25% SunTek Carbon tint applied at Highline yesterday. Looks great upon initial day 1 inspection. They advised not applying tint all the way up over the dot matrix on the rear window and bringing it back in a week or two to paint it.

I had my rear painted on my coupe, i thought it looked good. Some places can also do vinyl strip across the back that looks good. The dot matrix looks like crap when you try and tint it.
