is there a standard tint on the e90s and e92s
if there si, what is the % and does it need to be removed before an after market tint is applied?

I don't believe there is any tint on the windows... just the stupid, POS dot matrix around the windows that screws up tint...

the e92 has factory tinted glass...but the tint is in the glass I think. I don't think you can remove it.

It's a tint in the glass, afaik it's something like 77% (my G35 was the same), so no, it doesn't need to be removed. Tint's don't multiple either, so doing a 35% tint won't mean the windows are actually 12%.
