Ok so my orginal bmw professional radio quit working in all after i unplugged it, so I ordered another factory radio from lkq. When I plugged the new one in it lite up fine goes through stations fine, but I have no sound at all, no sound from the radio, no sound from aux, and none from the cd player. It has the same serial number as my bmw professional radio, although this one has the sat option in audio, and the eq goes higher than mine did. So idk, if my car just needs a software update, or do I need to unplug the battery, and then reinstall it with the keyfob away from the car?? If you know anything on this it would be helpful...I miss my music

You can try searching for radio reset or software. I seen it here before. I will re-post if I find it again.

thanks, ya I ended up calling the dealer and apparently they said I need a reflash
