The BMW Club (BMW CCA) is kicking off its 2007 membership drive.

Benefits include:

* Member reward - you get a check from BMW NA for $500-1500 (depends on model) when you get a new or CPO BMW
* Subscription to Roundel magazine (monthly)
* Discount on parts - dealers routinely give 10-20% off
* Driving schools on tracks such as Lime Rock, Poconos, Sebring
* Autocross
* Local chapter events

Membership is well worth it! The Roundel magazine alone is worth more than the annual fee.

You are 100% right...Roundel is a fantastic BMW magazine. One other nice thing is that if you're a member for a year and you get a new BMW, they actually give you money! For my 328xi coupe, that's $500 in my pocket to do with what ever I want!

Definately worth it! Once you break your car in you HAVE to go to a driving school! Nothing else quite like it and you learn SO much about how to use your car! One of the best things you can do with your clothes on!

I just put my coupe on order, but I don't get it until June. Am I eligible for the Member Reward? You're telling me that for a $40 membership, BMW CCA will give me back at least $500?

No. i think you need to be a member for at least one year to recieve that discount.

What will referencing someone do/is for?

You need to be a member for the 12 months prior to your purchase.

You are eligible if you take delivery on the 366th day of your BMW CCA membership or greater.

If you are not a member...JOIN. I joined when I bought my first BMW (I think it was free, or my dealer paid the subscription for the first year, I forget). At first, I was turned off by the magazine as I wasn't into the "BMW" thing, I just liked the car. But after a while, the magazine grows on you and it really becomes a great monthly read. Of course, there are the other monetary benefits as well so it's really a great deal.

I feel so damn stupid for not knowing about this a year ago. I had BMW 3 series in mind for over a year. $500 down the drain for sure.

Don't kick yourself. There are a lot of other benefits and you'll get a check on the next car!

I'm a BMWCCA member. Looks strange, but I will do an ED around this time next year and I also do HPDEs at VIR.
