new car

the dealer got my car in today and told me that i could pick it up tomorrow. i went to go look at the car today after they washed it and i noticed there was a small scratch on it. my sales person left for the day so i didnt have a chance to tell him but i was able to talk with the manager and he said that they would buff it out. my question is will buffing with a machine mess up my paint? is there anything i should do about this when i meet with my sales person tomorrow.

thanks

Listen to me and listen closely.

They will permanently ruin your car if that buffer touches your paint, guaranteed. You let them wash it which was mistake #1. If you let them buff the scratch it will be mistake #2. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR PAINT. TAKE YOUR CAR HOME AND READ UP ON AUTOPIA.ORG

Don't let the dealer touch the car. Do a search on how to remove a scratch on the forum or on the net and do it your self (very easy). What I would do is just wait for another car and tell them not to prep it when it comes in.
