new car
the dealer got my car in today and told me that i could pick it up tomorrow. i went to go look at the car today after they washed it and i noticed there was a small scratch on it. my sales person left for the day so i didnt have a chance to tell him but i was able to talk with the manager and he said that they would buff it out. my question is will buffing with a machine mess up my paint? is there anything i should do about this when i meet with my sales person tomorrow.
thanks |

They will permanently ruin your car if that buffer touches your paint, guaranteed. You let them wash it which was mistake #1. If you let them buff the scratch it will be mistake #2. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR PAINT. TAKE YOUR CAR HOME AND READ UP ON AUTOPIA.ORG |

Don't let the dealer touch the car. Do a search on how to remove a scratch on the forum or on the net and do it your self (very easy). What I would do is just wait for another car and tell them not to prep it when it comes in.
