help asap!

im in my garage trying to install the alarm i just got. i need to jack up the car but i didt buy that dumb adaptor thing. i have a 2 ton jack and need this thing in the air now. anyone have any advice???

the 2x4 will be fine... and if the car is too low to raise it up just nail a few together and drive up on them
