Week 16?

I just called the 1 800 # and got a week 16 prod. scheduled... anyone know when i should be getting the car? I live in the North east....

Week 16 would be week starting April 16... so figure about five to six weeks after that to hit your dealer.

800# says in body shop for the last 3 days with production finished April 17.
Can't wait to call the # tomorrow Am(4-17)
I figure another 4-5 weeks ans she will be at her new home

Same here, past 3 days in body shop, except that the automated message tells me 04/18 and the live rep told me 04/17 sometime last week. The live rep told me that their systems were down today, hopefully they will be back up tomorrow!

Mine was in assembly and QC today per the automated message and live rep respectively. supposed to leave for port of exit tomorrow. wonder which vessel it will board.

me too, from what I have read, the next part is the tricky part, getting on a vessal, and then figuring out what vessel you are on without calling your CA

Just recieved the "Production Complete, Awaiting transport" from the 800#.

I am hoping to get on the Courage that is scheduled to leave Monday 4/23.

LI E90 - You are right. This is the tricky part. I don't know about cars going to NY, but if I miss the Courage, I think the next ship doesn't leave for a week.

I just got a call this morning informing me that my car moved up to week 16 production and started production today! :rocks: Goodbye week 18, then week 17, hello week 16.

cool thanks.. odd how two vessels leave 4/23, one arrives on 5/7 the other 5/8. I am most likely going to be on one of those, doubt I made it on to the Otello which left today. short of calling my CA and looking really desperate, how do I figure out which one I am on?

At the WW website - ( http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/ ), you can go to a link from the home page (bottom right) for cargo tracking, then to auto tracking, for the tracking # you put in your vin# that you can get off the BMW owners circle website.

I am not 100% sure, but WW does have a way to search for your VIN on their ships. I think it takes a couple of days after the ship leaves port to update, but then just search both ships with your VIN and see. There are a few stickies above that go over how to do this, but I figured I'd wait until I may be on a ship before reading it.

As far as the different arrival dates, one can have an extra port to dock at, or be a slower ship. The Courage is the one that leaves goes to Charleston after NY, and the Atlantic Concert does not go to Charleston, so it may have a different port route.
