I think thats a little to soon.
I ordered mine FEB 1st got prod number Feb 22nd. Its now at the port of exit waiting for a vessel. Im looking at May 1st maybe a little sooner.

From what I read from most people its been 3 months from order to delivery.

I agree ... too soon !! I oredered mine 3/13 got production # 4/2 and is is expected here 1st week of June. Good luck though !!

First thing, do you have a production number?

If you do, then your chances are better than if you don't have one.

If you don't, highly unlikely.

coupe or sedan ?

if its a sedan, probably.
if its the coupe, prob not...

I ordered mine on 3/3 and the car has arrived at the port on 4/2 (on Courage). I should be taking delivery within the next 6-7 days.

I guess I got lucked out as my CA told me that they had a production allocation that has the same exact config except Sat. I didn't want the Sat and he tried to sell it to me below invoice. I told him I didn't want it. He ended up giving it to me for free for being a loyal customer (my 3rd BMW with him.)

He showed me the Vechile Inquiry Report which showed a status 112 on 3/5. So I know he ain't lying. It was a nice surprise.

But yes, the coupe is harder to get (wait longer) than the sedan.

All you guys in the US are so damn lucky. I ordered my car at the begining of Feb and was told Late May delivery. We'll I was told today, to expect July delivery now. I don't know what it is, but here in Canada it seems you need to order the car a year in advance. It's either that or my dealer cannot get a production slot if there life depended on it.

The only way you would get it is if the dealer changed the specs on a car that they already had on order in the system . Otherwise ,on a new order, you won't get it

well they said 6 week delivery and its give or take 1-2 days over 6 weeks from 4th to may 15th so i actually think its possible and since its the sedan its possible and im am near the port. and if it matters i ordered from the 2nd best dealer"as they claim" in the nation which is Difeo BMW in Tenafly New jersey.

Yeah, a 4/4 order and a 5/15 delivery would be awfully fast. The car is on the boat for 10 full days. I understand the sedan is in less demand than the coupe, but I thought the limiting factor was the engine because of the E93 and the 5-series introducing the engine into that line. Wouldn't that affect the 335i line equally, sedan or coupe?

This will be an interesting one to follow, especially since most people are waiting 3 months from order to delivery, for the coupe at least. Seriously I think that would be one of the fastest order-to-delivery times I have seen on e90post.com so far.
