sup rider...guess we are the only two from the Rocky's on the board...Do you plan on doing mods? So far I've ordered m6 reps, H&Rs, painted reflector, factory areo lip, upgraded lights(angles, fogs)...Oh and a passport 8500 x50 to keep the smokies off my back

Yo,
I'm also in Colorado Springs. Just got my 328xi a week and a half ago. I love it (of course). Still only have about 200 miles on it (haven't been able to get out much... and currently out of town). I'm eager to get out of the break-in period ;-) -Mike

I'm in the DTC area. And I'm definitely loving the e92 in the warm weather. Went for a drive the back way up to Mt. Evans through Evergreen last Sunday, and it was a helluva drive I gotta admit.

I'm here in Fort Collins. Long time BMW owner, BMW CCA member.
Waiting on delivery of 19" CSL reps w/PS2's for my current E90 330i and E92 335i(on order). Been so nice here the last several days, I have been driving and enjoying my M3.

ah.. the best way to avoid rock chips is to not drive too close to the person in front of you. clear bra would help a lot here since they are constantly putting sand down during the winter to avoid skidding. i used to have an older bmw which had all seasons tires on them and it worked fine, if you want to get snow tires the studded ones are the best and works great, maybe you should have gotten an XI?!? if it snows that bad you shouldn't be driving in it anways, which has happend a few times last year.

I replace a window in one of our cars every other year on average, get used to it. If the cracks don't get you the general pitting will. I encounter as many rocks in the summer as winter due to all the road construction it seems like. My wife just got a large rock thrown at her X5's window a couple weeks ago that made a crack so big it could not be repaired. This will be the second new window in her X5 and we bought it Nov 05.
I don't find studs neccesary in the Denver area but I would get snow tires. Their grip on snow is much better than all seasons which makes a big difference when you need to stop or turn to avoid the SUV on summer tires flying across 3 lanes of traffic in front of you. |

I'm in Parker (southeast Denver metro). Just found out today that my car is finished and awaiting transport.
After a lot of agonizing, I chose the 335i over the 335xi. I do plan on getting snow tires and a clear bra. I'll drive the Jeep if we get any really bad snows like last season.

Forza, not to change the topic, but do you have any plans to dyno your car? I'm dying to see what a 335xi puts down at MAC Auto Tell you what, I'd even be willing to buy you lunch if you'd be willing to dyno your car! I'm very curious to see the #s! |

Yeah man, jtmccabe and I are planning on heading to MAC to do a dyno run or two to see what they can do stock. I'm just wanting about 1000 miles on the car to loosen it up first and then I'm for sure interested to see if it's gonna embarrass me
