328i in California is PZEV

PZEV=Partial Zero Emission Vehicle

http://www.driveclean.ca.gov/en/gv/v...?vehicleid=227

Interestingly, only in auto-tranny form.

I know this car has 2 different engine versions... I read on this forum recently that only PZEV/SULEV version of 328i is available in CA but don't know if that's true...

Don't know if anybody cares... or if it's a repost... but I thought it was interesting.

I have an SULEV. I'm going to put it on the dyno later this month, so we can all know if there is any negative impact to the power curve.

Please post your results p166mmx73... I'm curious about the power curve. Also, curious if the SULEV/PZEV version takes a hit on gas mileage.

Just found this...
http://www.state.nj.us/dep/cleanvehicles/07cartable.htm

So maybe NJ doesn't require the auto-box? weird

"Partial zero"?? WTF?

California has gone COMPLETELY bonkers. Glad I got the hell outta there 3 years ago.
