07 E90 335i vs. 530i for about the same price
Hi,
Looking for all your opinions for my friend (I recommended him 530i but he wants to hear several opinions as well) decision on his next car 335i $49750 (MSRP, they are selling $1k above dealer invoice) sports package premium package automatic with paddles comfort access shades iPod/USB adapter heated front seats navigation with idrive 530i $53170 (MSRP, and they are bargaining out of these old 07 models) premium package automatic navigation With that 530i in stock and priced very close to that 335i he configured, 530i may be a good choice, but we want to hear more opinions from you all... So, that 335i or 530i? Thanks guys |

Its a world of a difference in performance.535i is coming out soon anyway.I say either wait for that or go with 335i.IMHO

depends on what the driver wants...335 is definitly for performace and with all those options it is luxury too...i compared my own interior with my friends 545 i find that not much difference especially with the idrive...but if he wants real comfort and bigger space then 530...
but i dont think it is a good time to purchase a 5 now because once the facelifted ones comes out this year the pre facelifted ones price will drop alot so...he should consider that too

From an e60 owner:
I LOVE my car. It's awesome, but I find it too big. It's exudes class (but also aggressive with the M-Sport package), and looks a lot more professional than a 3 series, BUT... I purchased my car 9 months ago...and by request, my dealer is working out how much it will cost me to get into a 335 now, or a M3 early next year when it is released. Bottom line: I'm ready to skip out on the space for the e92...i'm 23 and think the 5er will be a perfect fit for me in a couple years, but i'm looking forward to getting into a e92 in the next couple months. |
