Urgent Help Requested

So, not turbo related, but suspension. Why are the tischer performance shocks longer than OEM? I can't get them compressed enough to clear my fender. I'm using eibach coils which are shorter than OEM so I dunno wtf is going on... Any tricks?

Have you tried in the suspension section?

I'm curious to hear the answer. Good luck man

I had the same problem when I installed them. The shocks are the exact same length (I checked), but the spring is likely not as compressed as necessary to clear the fender. My solution was to put the top part of the suspension (not sure what that top metal piece is called) on when the shock was already inside the fender and the use a socket extension through the hole at the top of the mount to the body to put on the top 22mm? nut.

No idea if it was the "right" way to do it, but it worked.

Got it figured out. Just had to compress the hell out of the springs until the two clamps touched then compress the shock by hand. Took forever but finally done. One of the top nuts REALLY didn't want to come off, but some 10w40 and manual convincing did the trick.
