Front-end "rubbing"/vibration sound

I experience a rubbing sound coming from the RF wheel well and a slight vibration in the steering column (i.e., noticeable with hand placed on column itself, not the steering wheel). The sound is most noticeable at low speeds (either accelerating from a stop or coming to a stop). Car could stand an alignment but tracks fine. And there's no shimmy or wobble with the car (I've replaced more than enough rims to know when such things are due to bent rims, etc.).

The RF rim was recently replaced (1 month ago) after an impact with a pothole. This sound has become noticeable in the past two weeks. Thoughts - worn control arm bushing? tie-rod? ball-joint?
