Nope, but if it really did that, then it would be the law of physics, no?

Hot = expansion

Cold = shrinkage (probably not the best choice of word, but whatever the opposite of expansion is.....lol)

The exhaust system gets hot and expands. If you look at the exhaust hangers, they can swing back and forth to accommodate for thermal expansion.

I think the word you're looking for is contraction. Lol

i didnt do that experiment in science class. we just made paper airplanes and plade with mud. haha
