Hi,

Does anyone know how to set up the JB4 for the down pipe fix?

And is the CANflap option the same as the tee mod?

Yes the can flap gives you the same result as the Golf Tee mod.

Yeah that pdf is for the external DP fix, it is should be built into the JB4 unit now, so I need instruction on the set up for the JB4 but thanks

Thanks again, but it does not tell me anything about setting it up but it does state it has it, unless it automatically detects it and auto adjust for it.

See the chart at the bottom of the first post to enable "auto code clear"

1. enter console mode by turning off radio and then pressing down on channel and volume bottons on your steering wheel simultaneously
2. press the volume up button 1 time, speedo should read at 10.
3. press then channel up button 3 times to set auto code clear on
4. press the volume down button 2 times to exit console mode
5. done

Thanks I understand now, you have to turn on, "auto code clear" and that will take care of it.

re-check my post as I had the volume and channel bottons mixed up orginally. I fixed the post now.

Auto clear will keep the light off, but you will not be able to pass emissions without the physical DPFix. Just a heads up.

Thanks boss, I have awhile until that happens, they changed the law on the test up here and the car has to be over 7yrs old before it needs to be tested, and mines is a 2008.

The external DP fix isn't the same as the feature on the JB4 that suppresses cat codes. The DP fix actually allows the o2 sensors to show ready status to pass emissions.

After about 60 miles or so, yes.

The JB4/Procede auto code clearing feature clears the codes while they are in a pending state to ensure you do not have any annoying lights on your dashboard. They do not ensure the o2 sensors are in a ready status for emissions.
