Wink The quickest/easiest/safest 122whp gain ever

6MT Sedan
Mods:
Procede v5
PWM Meth kit (75/25 mix)
Vishnu DCIs
91oct

Map 0 (stock-like) with DCI... 284whp
Map 4 + PWM Meth kit (16.5psi)... 406whp

Cost around $2k, installs in less than an hour. Easily removable. Best imaginable drivability/consistency. And the cost of running meth is around $5 per tankful of gasoline. Makes the whole Tune X vs. Tune Y debate pretty silly when looked at in perspective. Adding a good meth kit takes the tune into another stratosphere.

It's interesting to not that the car is making about the same power (and similar power curve) as my FBO car (full mods+lightweight flywheel) running without meth. Same exact top end power as well. Which surprised me considering the PWM meth car has not exhaust mods. Goes to show just how much the extra octane (allowing for 2-4 deg more advance across the board) and much lower IATs do when it comes to making power. Think of it as a huge mechanical efficiency bump.

Cheers,
Shiv

Ohh I see. The new kit utilizes the windshield washer reservoir? If so, how do we prevent accidently pressing the washer stalk spraying meth on th windshield?

I can imagine what 93 octane will do. +140HP?

You can run a progressive meth setup tune and intake included for half of 2 grand, maybe even less. The great news is you can switch tunes later down the road and not render the meth kit worthless if you decide to switch.

Exactly! The sad part is that the people that don't know any better will buy this.

You do realize there is a Procede and charge pipe in the pic?

So the meth is about half of 2k with the intakes....

Currently, methanol output DC is based upon a RPM vs. Load table with additional compensations for throttle blade angle, oil temp, IAT, gear change events, etc,. At first, we'll probably just enable a user adjustable for a global meth output DC trim. Later, we will give access for actual mapping. But we actually recommend leaving the mapping alone since it works really well as is.

It's nice and all but in my opinion, the meth kit is extremely overpriced, I was going to jump on this but why a pump, a flow sensor and couple of nozzles cost $795 is out of my understanding, a HFS-3 aquamyst includes all that , a controller that's not attached to any other tune and a gauge for $699. I wanted to get this but I don't want to support over priced items.

I don't think 93oct will be worth much more power than 91 since running meth already bumps up effective octane so high. There comes a point where you have enough octane and are already running max timing for best torque. And adding more octane won't necessarily make more power in such cases.
