Start with software, the JB4 is a solid option for a ready to go upgrade. I'd then suggest an exhaust, intake and downpipes if you are okay with the aggressive sound.

I understand not wanting things to be too pricey, but you ultimately need to decide where you want to end up. Are you looking for serious gains, or you just want to add a power? The JB+ is pretty cheap and adds a little bit of power. Do you eventually plan on adding downpipes, intercooler upgrade, meth, etc? If you want more power or plan on adding more mods later, go with a JB4, Procede, GIAC, or Cobb. All have their pros/cons, and there are already thousands of threads covering them in depth so I will leave it at that. Regardless of whatever tune you get, it will be better than stock, and you'll more than likely love it.

I think the more I look at it the Jb4 is only 600 or so so thats a pretty solid mod. I already have a magnaflow x pipe so I was thinking about doing the full magnaflow exhaust.

Doing the full exhaust is going to provide VERY little gains in power, especially for the cost. Putting Downpipes on cost much less, and provides substantial gain in conjunction with a tune.

If you want the JB4 there is a guy selling one from the forum:

There is also a Procede for sale too:

You can get so pretty good deals in the Classified section if you are trying to go about modding the cheap way.
