Is there a status change when the car gets in the port?

Because I did the ED I no longer have the option to look up where my car is on OC so I only have the 800# to go by. And of course me sales guy has stopped returning my emails too. Do they make a change in status when it hits the VPC or will it forever just say "in transit". Anyone know?

When it gets to the VPC the status changes. I think ED cars still go to VPC don't they?

Yes they do. I just didn't know if the status would change on the 800#.

My car arrived in NYC (I was tracking it while aboard the Patriot with the VIN) and the 800 number is now saying, "Your vehicle is now at the port awaiting a shipping vessel."

I don't know why it's saying this message again. I hope they don't ship it back!!! Does anyone know why it's giving me this message again????

According to the OC, after the vehicle is "en route", status should change to "at Vehicle Preparation Center". I wouldn't think this would be any different for ED cars. The change of status after that is "at your BMW Center". But we all know that the OC is at least a day or 2 behind so you can't give it much credability.

Unfortunately for me the option to track you car in OC is now gone presumably because it was an ED. But in any case I'm now limited to just the 800# and my SA when he bothers to get back to me.

I know... sucks to be me!
