BMW wheel protection package

Getting ready to pick up the 535 M Sport Saturday. They are offering the wheel and tire protection for about a grand. With So Cal roads now looking like a 3rd world country I am thinking it might be money well spent. Thoughts?

I bought it both for my 2009 Z4 & 2011 535 -
To date, I replaced 8 tires in 18 months on the Z4 and 0
on on my 535.

I think that it is a good deal.

Definitely get it.. I have a 2011 535 M Sport hit a pot hole last week , I have 400 miles. Bent the rim and bubbled the tire. All replaced yesterday no questions asked!! Well worth it I paid 950 for 5 years
