Sprint Booster...ANy Thoughts?
Has anyone used the Sprint Booster? Curious to hear any thoughts that anyone may have. I guess it is similar to a tune but does not alter the ECU, only modifies the throttle signal between the accelerator pedal and the throttle body.

This is from their website.
• Sprint Booster does not increase Horsepower. • Sprint Booster does not reduce your 0-60mph times. • Sprint Booster DOES make your car 'FEEL' faster. • Sprint Booster is not for everyone. But your car will "Feel" faster for $300!!!! LOL

I have this in my car and I absolutely love it. For those who say to get a tune, I already do and without the SB I still am not as happy with the throttle response. I have done the throttle reset adaptation and the feeling still isnt the same. Yes, you could push down harder, but I personally like the instant feel of just part throttle. For $300 most would be against it, but you have to try it to notice the difference. I rode in a friends 325i with it and was convinced. I have it my 135i (steptronic) and my other friend has it in his manual 135i. If you can find someone nearby who has it, I would try it first and see what you think. At first it is very touchy, but you get used to it and learn to drive that way. My first day I felt like I was going to ram into slow traffic, now I can't drive it on anything but the race setting.

BTW different strokesfor different folks. The Jb3 2.0 had this feature built in you could change it in the pedal target parameter and change the % of the pedal response to throttle blade opening . So you have full throttle with 1/4 pedal travel. Sprint booster was good option few years ago when not many options were available. But now I feel in my opnion its not well money spent.
