Procede 335xi drag strip - high altitude

A group of us (8-10 cars) went to Bandimere Speedway this past weekend.

Here are my runs, note DA was 7,000'+

Car is a 2007 335xi AT
Procede V5 12-17 maps, autotuning on
Vishnu Meth kit with 75/25 meth/water
Catless downpipes and midpipes
AMS intercooler

Conditions:
91 octane + meth
50-60 ambient temps
launched in M1 using launch control

My first time at the drag strip with this car. Finally got into the 12's on pump + meth, and had 2 cars seats in the back seat. Wanted to see what the car would do in it's daily driver street trim.

I'm car #615, was more concerned with launch control than reaction time.

It is the xi record so far. Fasted rwd is 12.926 @ 111 on 104 octane, no meth.

BTW, where's Part 2? Posted this to give people something to look at while waiting.

Bandimere is a rough one! To anyone who cares to approximate what those times would be at sea level, the NHRA has correction factors listed to convert approximate times at higher elevations to sea level:
http://www.nhra.net/tech_specs/altitude.html

^^^Although there is a note specifically saying the cut the CF in half for turbocharged/supercharged cars. So to get an approximate idea of what a turbo car should run in similar weather conditions at sea level, up here at Bandimere, multiply the ET by ~0.97025 & MPH by ~1.02815 (half factors). For his car it would be around 12.589 @ 110.17 which would still be pretty conservative IMO.

Although, for anyone who thinks altitude hurts turbo cars up here, you should see how much slower NA cars are up here. It's pretty sad to say the least.

My point exactly

Seeing C6 Corvette's run low 14's/high 13's up here is kind of an eye opener.
