Jb3 steptronic problem

Currently picked up used jb3 not completely sure what version but its the latest pnp and i have dci currently running map 3 with 93 oct. The problem is when launching the car at the top of first or second with dtc completely off (4 second hold) it feels like dtc is still cutting throttle. The car just falls on its face once it loses traction...wtf. After that it catches and then shifts and pulls like a freight train. Any ideas?

Ryan

***********fixed....didn't realize that the car shifted on it own at redline in manual mode and I was shifting the steptronic the same time the ecu was shifting and was going from 1st to third gear**************

Hold the button down till the wheel spin icon comes up.

Also, dont hold the petal completely to the floor. You want it to shift around 6.3-6.5k, you dont make any power after that

My traction control was completely off. Triangle with arrow around and exclamation point in the middle. This happened numerous times.

Not being rude. Thanks for your input. The fuel pump is brand new fuel with less than 500 miles on it. Sorry if I came off that way. I just got frustrated since I posted the info. and thought I was pretty clear.

Sorry for coming off like a duech (spelling?) but I've had a long couple of days. Been at the hospital since yesterday morning with my daughter. She is ok but still been a little overwhelming. Let me be a little more clear. If I launch the car and it starts to spin it feels like the traction control is taking over by cutting the throttle...traction control is all the way off. I put jb3 steptronic problem as the title cause I figured someone may have had similar issues and could chime in. Thought maybe the AT with steptronic and jb3 addition could be related to my issue. Oh yeah...no need for name calling....and " Isn't it obvious why your loosing power, your spinning the rear tires"....WOW....

Chances are its not a steptronic problem.

If you want an answer you should be data logging petal vs throttle position.

Or just listen to the fact that power falls on its face in the higher RPMs. Shift earlier.
