Not sure if this has hit the masses but Dan opened the sway bar buy for a short time again.

Got my bar today. A question for those who have installed. Lithium grease or no? It didn't come with grease and I've read somewhere in my searchin the E9x M sway doesn't need grease. Please pass your wisdom along.

ask bmw, they will give u the answer. I get all my work done by BMW, not cuz I'm lazy or don't know how to do it, but just for the fact that I know it's done right and in case shit happens it's covered.

I used grease it was just easier to snap the two halves together. some say that grease makes noise over time, but i dont think that is the case in our bushings as theay arent polyurathane, anthough they are some hard stuff.

No grease on mine

I didn't have any handy and was too excited to install...I figured I could use grease later if it squeaked....I'll let you know in a couple of thousand miles

As for the affect...noticeable difference and I've definitely taken corners harder and faster and flatter than before....which my wife likes!

All in all I figures the bushing could ge greasless. Any bars I've put on other cars with rubber bushings didn't require but I usually did. Now poly's you need or they squeek. Thanks for the insights.
