Howdy folks, new e92 owner

Hey folks. just wanted to say hello.

Just picked up my first bimmer, figured it was time.

found a 2009 328i X-drive with all the options except navi, sitting at the audi Dealer.

$26k. 18k miles and another 2 years on the original warranty.

would of love a 335i, but, this was too good a deal to pass up.

Yes, may do a few simple mods, including wheels once I use up the run flats. =) For now, it is a comfy touring sedan. =)

Congratulations! I have a 335 coupe with that same color combo!

My purchase was almost the opposite of yours, I went to a BMW dealer to buy an Audi and ended up walking out with the bimmer!

How was it dealing with Bell Audi? They lost a decent sale with me by not letting me test drive an S5.

its not all option...it more like a base + few options.....sorry, not trying to be a jerk....

Good grief, every time I hear that (and it's about ten times a day in the General forum) I just want to barf up my colon. Seriously, how lame is the 3-series if any version of it needs "tint and rims ... urgently"?

Drive it for a while, hang out in here (and in the Suspension/Brakes/Chassis and Tracking/Autocrossing forum, IMO, to see what these cars really need) and think about it before someone talks you into dropping your plastic on some mods in your first hours of ownership.
