Moving to ATL next month!

I'm originally from AL but have been living up north for a few years. I'm moving back down to ATL next month and wanted to introduce myself. Looking forward to some cars and coffee gatherings!

I have gone to Avril for tint before, but that was a long time ago. My buddy has a mobile guy who does a good job, but I don't know his availability, he has been a little MIA lately. Will let you know

Btw, I would also like to know a nice tint shop. Im going for light tint (35%) as my car is white e92 and want to keep the clean non-Oreo look.

I'm looking to do 35% too, just would like to find a place that'll use decent film at at decent price. Also need someone to hardwire my V1...

Hardwiring the V1 is easy- i can help you out with that no problem

Yes, me too. If you guys need me to make you the harness (with pointed tip that taps into the plug behind the roof control - see HowTo on this Forum) I'll be glad to make it for you. It will make the job super easy and 110% reversible.

As far as tints... my Bimmer isn't tinted, but I had my Civic done by Stanley (Sunblock Window Tinting) and he did a great job for a very good price (like low 100s). They're holding up strong after over 3 years, same dark colour, no "purple-ification" nor bubbling.

Welcome to ATL bro! I'm a bit north of you but I'm downtown often. As far as meets go, you definitely need to check out Caffeine and Octane. That's where most of the nice cars in the area go

Welcome! I'm in Buckhead also. My 135 occasionally sits in the back of the parking lot behind Fellini's pizza. Usually instead I keep my old Porsche 968 Cab out there. I only have one covered spot with my condo.

United BMW outsourced their tinting when I bought my car. I have the guy's number if you need it. He did a great job!

Thanks for the welcomes. Haven't been on the site much bc we don't have internet at the apt yet (ugh). I'm going to try to get out to oasis tomorrow for a tint. I also need a shop to take it into - the engines got a bit of a tick to it, I know, uh oh..and the rpms are varying and temprarily dropping at idle. Need to get it check out. Any suggestions on this? Called a few "bmw repair" spots today, but don't know of any reputations.

Although they are in Alpharetta, both Harrison Motorsport and German Car Repair have very good reputations.
