I'm from FL but posting here because I figured this would be the best place for real info. I'm heading to visit family in Oregon and will need to carry chains for my 328. Anybody have any experience with the OE chains?

Do you have other suggestions that are cheaper but do not get into the wheels. I may not need them at all so I'm really not quick to pay that much for OE BMW.

Though I'm from FL I've lived in Colorado, Idaho, KY and Germany so please no winter driving advice.
