I don't mind shipping to Sydney. I'll have to check how the logistics will work and the costs involved.

Seriously orey.. who gives a flying f*ck what you whether you would, or wouldn't buy a second hand set of wheels for $1500? The is an old adage that goes something along the lines of

"if you don't have something constructive to say, don't say anything at all"

You could learn a lot from applying such a concept from time to time!

Pete - you may want to look at www.courierquotes.com.au When I sold my OEM wheels (inc tyres) the buyer was in Melbourne, from memory the freight was ~$100.. same goes when I bought my current wheels and tyres from Sydney (think it was $140 iirc)

GL with the sale, they look fantastic on your car!

Orey: your immaturity doesn't suprise me one bit. read the forum rules before commenting again!!

FYI:

if you are happy to wait 2 weeks:
you can buy the wheels at PYSPEED.com for US$950 + US$450 shipping + 10%GST + 5%Customs duties + Airport fees + $250 Agent fees.... + $800 for tires + $60 fitting and balance. ~$2700

Cheers Chris. I'll check it out.

I called Toll Ipec and didn't really know the proper dimmensions or weight of wheels + tyres + boxes, but they estimated around $150. I will provide receipts regardless, and buyer can choose courier.

Good price. I wish my V701's where that cheap incl rubber. Even with a sponsorship from vmr and a refund of some of the duties after lots of b!tching I still ended up paying about 1500 for just the wheels. 1800aud with rubber is a good price.

Not only do you not have to worry about all the crap you go through when you import parts over 1000 but your getting a fkn exclusive wheel for the money. None of the cheaper knock off brands have this design, they have every other vmr design but not this one.

I don't know of anyone else that has this wheel in AU besides me and Pete and mine are a silver finish..

yeh these are very similar and for 1100 you can get them new... and put whatever wheels you want on them.

honestly nothing personal, i just think that its a steep asking price for something that is A) used B) not worth that much in the first place.

How do you put wheels on wheels?

Those wheels are very different.

Orey go buy a set see how much it ends up costing. If we one day have an Australian VMR distributor the prices might come down a bit but as everyone has to import these from the US personally there are a lot of other costs involved.

if somebody wants VMR V713 wheels, they will buy VMR 713 wheels.

These are VMR V701 wheels, for those that WANT V701's.

Orey: the opinions of anybody who has never paid for anything himself and has had daddy pay for everything doesnt' stand very highly. You wouldn't know the associated costs regarding importing wheels, and even after I listed them down, you still don't get it. YOU ARE RETARDED.

Dec540: ur car looks great with the 701's !!

Sorry, but are you referring to putting wheels onto wheels? or did you just provide a picture of some tires..

Get back in your box orey.. if the price is too high, then the seller will have to drop his price.. in the end goods are only as valuable as someone is willing to pay. In your mind $1800 is too much, in other peoples mind its a good price.

We certainly don't need you to share your VAST wisdom on every single post on this forum, especially as it so often seems to be based upon a flawed logic!
