So my friend wants me to sell his Procede for him. It's a V4, Canbus, never VIN locked, running the most recent V4 maps.

Not much to say obv. - it has not been VIN-locked, and it's the full out version, so the one that goes for $895 on Vishnu's site. He wants 700 + pp fees shipped CONUS.

Please note: this CAN be upgraded to V5 and will NOT cost $150 b/c it has never been upgraded so far.

Yep, only one. Have to pay $150 after that (sorry - didn't see this until today).

To be clear all map and firmware upgrades are free for as long as YOU have the car. If/When you upgrade to V5, the box becomes locked to your VIN so only you can upgrade (once again its free for as long as you have your car, or buy another BMW that can support it). However, when you sell it, the new owner will have to pay $150.00 to get it unlocked for their car.

Now keep in mind that this is only for Procedes that have been upgraded to V5. The one being sold here has not, so there will be no need to unlock.
